Enhancing India’s Competitiveness

Note from the President and CEO

Dear Colleagues,

It has been interesting 2015 with debates and discussions on various issues of competitiveness, innovation, strategy, development, etc. at the India Council on Competitiveness.

We have had some exciting engagements like the National Competitiveness Forum, Porter Prize, State Competitiveness Report and Awards as a part of the activity calendar.

With this update, we are releasing the clarion call that suggests the areas that need immediate attention in the country for enhancing its competitiveness. The six focus points for the clarion call are passing legislative reforms, look to markets in Asia, focus on the quality of life, improving manufacturing activity, focus on learning outcomes and better IP regime for fostering innovation.

We welcome you as well to be a member of the India Council and actively participate in the ongoing debates and discussions. To explore the memberships details, either write to me or visit the following link: http://compete.org.in/membership/. Look forward to your continued support and participation.

Wishing everyone a very prosperous 2016.
